We have a great opportunity for reliable and professional individuals to join our team as Exam Invigilators.
As we enter the busy exam season, secondary schools across Oxfordshire are seeking additional support to ensure examinations run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with exam board regulations.

  • Location: Secondary Schools across Oxfordshire and Faringdon
    Start Date: November 2025
    Pay Rate:

    • Half Day: £61.01

    • Full Day: £91.51
      Contract Type: Casual / Seasonal

Peak times of the year for exams are December, January, May and June, so availability during these months would be beneficial. As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

No experience necessary as full training will be provided.  You will be put through a recognised JCQ qualification.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

    • Maintain the security of exam papers at all times and ensure that the conduct of the exam takes place within the guidelines set down by the examination board.
    • Collect question papers, attendance registers and all other necessary materials from the Exams Office before an exam.
    • Check the exam room is set up in accordance with JCQ regulations.
    • Ensure a calm environment to give candidates the best possible opportunity to be successful in their exams.
    • Accurately complete attendance registers noting the arrival time of any student arriving after the start of the exam.
    • Be vigilant at all times during an exam and record any incidents that occur.
    • Collect and collate completed scripts at the end of the exam and return them to the Exams Office.
