About the Role
We are looking for a nurturing and patient Teaching Assistant to support children within a Nursery setting in Consett. This part-time role focuses on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), making it ideal for someone with experience in Early Years and a passion for supporting young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to children within a Nursery/EYFS setting
- Work closely with pupils with SEN to support their development
- Create a calm, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Assist with early learning activities and routines
- Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development
Requirements
- Experience working within an EYFS/Nursery setting
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- Nurturing, patient, and caring approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with young children and staff
- Understanding of early years development
