Teaching Assistant – Middlesbrough

Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our educational family, supporting classroom teachers in nurturing our students’ growth and potential. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assisting with Lesson Preparation: Setting up learning materials and ensuring the classroom is ready for lessons. 2. Supporting Students: Offering targeted assistance to individuals or small groups, ensuring they grasp concepts and stay engaged. 3. Classroom Management: Helping maintain a positive, structured learning environment. 4. Administrative Tasks: Assisting with attendance, grading, and organising teaching resources. 5. Contributing to School Life: Engaging in extra-curricular activities, school events, and parent-teacher meetings. What We’re Looking For:
  • A genuine passion for education and student development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting (a plus, but not essential).
  • A collaborative spirit and adaptability in diverse classroom settings.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2/3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent.
