Job Title: Subject Specialists
Location: Durham
We are recruiting Subject Specialists to work in schools across Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, qualified teachers, or experienced educators with strong subject knowledge looking to support or deliver lessons in their specialism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver or support high-quality lessons within your subject area
- Plan and prepare engaging learning materials
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Support pupils in achieving academic targets
- Contribute to curriculum delivery and development
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant subject area (Maths, Science, English, Humanities, or DT)
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting
- Strong subject knowledge (Maths, Science, English, Humanities, or DT)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience
