Schools Mutual Services is recruiting a dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Northumberland. This full-time role runs from September until the Christmas holidays.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, encouraging students to develop a love of reading, writing and critical thinking.

Working within a welcoming and supportive department, you’ll plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress and create an inclusive classroom environment where every learner can succeed.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Can deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is organised, adaptable and committed to achieving positive outcomes for every learner.
• Works well as part of a collaborative teaching team.

• Competitive daily pay of £130.00 – £150.00.
