As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will have a passion for inspiring, supporting and challenging students to achieve excellence. Working as part of our team, you will have high standards and expectations and bring a positive ‘can do’ attitude to support a positive culture.
Inspire young minds and promote learning and welfare by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher and benefit from exceptional support.
We need Higher Level Teaching Assistants who:
- Hold the necessary L3 qualification or an equivalent specialism in SEND support
- Can work with a wide range of stakeholders to provide high quality support focused on maximising outcomes for all children who need support
- Can support individualised interventions to improve skills through 1:1 sessions and small groups
- Can provide appropriate cover for PPA sessions
- Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs to improve their skills and opportunity
- Has proven school experience in a supportive role from either a primary or secondary school
- Exhibits excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Is nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic, bringing energy and inspiration to the classroom
- Is adaptable and resilient, ready to meet the joyful unpredictability of school life

You will need a recognised L3 qualification or overseas equivalent and recent successful school and classroom practice. You must be able to provide references for your experience and have the right to work in the UK.
