Schools Mutual Services is recruiting a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Langley Moor from September. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children during the most important stages of their early learning journey.

Working mornings only, this role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, childcare practitioners, Early Years professionals or anyone looking for consistent part-time hours in education.

About the Role

You will work within the school’s Nursery, supporting children as they learn through play, exploration and structured activities.

You’ll help create a positive, safe and engaging environment where every child feels encouraged to grow in confidence and develop key early learning skills.

Working alongside the class teacher and Early Years team, you’ll support children with activities, routines and their personal, social and emotional development.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with Nursery or Early Years children.
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Is warm, patient and enthusiastic.
• Can build positive relationships with young children.
• Enjoys working as part of a supportive school team.
• Is reliable, organised and passionate about Early Years education.

Experience within nurseries, preschools, schools or childcare settings is highly desirable.
