Schools Mutual Services is recruiting a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming school in Washington from September until Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in their learning, helping them build confidence, develop new skills and achieve their full potential in a supportive school environment.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide classroom support for pupils throughout the school day.

You’ll help children stay engaged in learning, encourage independence and provide additional support where needed, ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to succeed.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

• Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Is patient, caring and supportive.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is adaptable and able to respond to the individual needs of pupils.
• Is committed to helping children achieve their best.
