Schools Mutual Services is recruiting a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the centre of Newcastle.

This short-term role, running from September until October half-term, is perfect for someone who enjoys working with Key Stage 2 pupils and wants to make a positive difference in the classroom.

About the Role

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

You’ll assist with classroom activities, provide additional support to individuals and small groups, and help pupils develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll become an important part of the school’s team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has previous experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Is patient, enthusiastic and supportive.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Is confident supporting classroom learning and encouraging pupil engagement.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is reliable, adaptable and committed to helping children achieve their best.
