Schools Mutual Services is recruiting an Extended Schools Provision Manager on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Didcot.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare or education professional to lead the school’s before and after-school provision, creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment where children can thrive.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Extended Schools Provision, leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality childcare in line with safeguarding, EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the daily running of the before and after-school club.
• Leading, supporting and developing the staff team.
• Planning fun, stimulating and inclusive activities for children.
• Ensuring the welfare, safeguarding and wellbeing of all children.
• Managing staff rotas, attendance records and club administration.
• Maintaining policies, risk assessments and compliance with current legislation.
• Building positive relationships with parents, carers and school staff.
• Managing resources, budgets and the provision’s day-to-day organisation.
• Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience managing or supervising childcare or extended school provision.
• Has excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• Has a strong understanding of safeguarding, EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
• Is passionate about providing high-quality care for children.
• Can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Salary

This role is paid on a pro rata basis, reflecting the working hours and term-time schedule.
