Schools Mutual Services is recruiting Kitchen Assistants to support one of our partner secondary schools in Dudley.

About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support the catering team in delivering nutritious meals to students and staff in a busy school environment.
Working 10 hours each week during term time, you’ll help ensure the kitchen operates safely, efficiently and to the highest hygiene standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing food and ingredients for service.
- Assisting with serving breakfasts, lunches or refreshments.
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen.
- Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Assisting with stock rotation and storage.
- Supporting the wider catering team during busy service periods.
- Helping to create a welcoming dining experience for students and staff.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll become an important part of the school’s daily operation.
