About the Role
As a Learning Manager, you’ll play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour, attendance, wellbeing and academic success.
Working closely with students, parents, teachers and senior leaders, you’ll help create a supportive learning environment where every young person can flourish.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing pastoral support to students across your allocated year group.
- Building positive relationships with students and families.
- Promoting excellent attendance, behaviour and engagement.
- Supporting students with social, emotional and wellbeing needs.
- Working alongside teaching staff to remove barriers to learning.
- Liaising with parents, carers and external agencies where appropriate.
- Monitoring student progress and implementing targeted interventions.
- Supporting safeguarding and student welfare procedures.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive school culture.

- Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
Experience in schools, education, youth services, mentoring, pastoral care, safeguarding or behaviour support would be advantageous but is not essential.
