Schools Mutual Services is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join one of our valued partner secondary schools in Dudley on a long-term supply basis.
We currently have one Science Teacher vacancy available, with the possibility of additional opportunities becoming available over the coming weeks. If you’re looking for your next teaching role in a supportive school where you can make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or teach across all three sciences, this is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

About the Role

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, encouraging students to question, investigate and develop a lifelong interest in science.
You will:
  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons
  • Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3 and KS4 (subject specialisms welcomed)
  • Inspire curiosity through practical and engaging learning
  • Support students in achieving excellent GCSE outcomes
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive Science department

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has a passion for Science and high-quality teaching
  • Can inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
  • Is committed to excellent classroom practice
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a successful department
