SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – General SEND Support

About the Role

Schools Mutual Services are recruiting experienced support staff to work as SEND LSAs across a variety of school settings, supporting children and young adults with additional needs including Autism, MLD, and SEMH.

Ideal Backgrounds

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistants
  • Learning Support Assistants
  • School-based support staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEND in classroom settings
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups
  • Assist with differentiated learning activities
  • Support communication, engagement, and development
  • Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive environment

About You

  • Relevant TA qualification or school-based experience
  • Strong understanding of SEND needs
  • Patient, proactive, and reliable
  • Passionate about supporting children and young people
