Schools Mutual Services is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dependable Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join schools in the Stanley area.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping pupils make progress and get the most from their education. You will work closely with teaching staff to support learning, encourage engagement and help pupils develop their confidence and independence.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
- Experience supporting pupils within a school or education setting.
- A caring, patient and encouraging approach.
- Good classroom and behaviour-management skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, adaptable and professional approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for young people.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or in a similar education-based role would be beneficial.
