Schools Mutual Services is looking for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about the arts and wants to inspire young people to develop their creativity, confidence and individual style.
You’ll have the opportunity to bring your own knowledge and experience into the classroom, introducing students to different techniques, artists and creative approaches while supporting them to achieve their full potential.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who has:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with a specialism in Art or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Art and Design.
- The ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons.
- A passion for sharing your experience with the next generation.
- High expectations for student achievement and progress.
- Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills.
- The ability to encourage students of different abilities to develop confidence in their creativity.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and creating a positive learning environment.
