Schools Mutual Services is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dependable Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join schools in the West Auckland area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who wants to make a positive difference to children’s education. Working alongside teachers and other school staff, you will support pupils with their learning, encourage participation and help create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
- Experience supporting pupils within a school or education setting.
- A caring, patient and encouraging approach.
- Good classroom and behaviour-management skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, adaptable and professional approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for young people.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or in a similar education-based role would be beneficial.
