We have an exciting opportunity for a Year 5 Supply class teacher to join a primary school in Botley. This role is a long-term supply position.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on Year 5 learning objectives
  • Supporting pupils in developing critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning as they prepare for their final primary years
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel respected, motivated, and confident to take risks in their learning
  • Using assessment to monitor progress, inform planning, and provide meaningful feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child’s individual needs are met and progress is sustained

Safeguarding

At Schools Mutual Services, we regard safeguarding as a top priority. All staff must have a valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or be willing to undergo the application process through ourselves. We also require valid education safeguarding; we provide this completely for free.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: £162.31-£223.63 per day
