Your Role as a Supply Teacher, Oxford:
- Lesson Delivery: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity in students’ learning.
- Classroom Management: Maintain order and a positive learning environment by effectively managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Adaptability: Quickly familiarise yourself with school routines, policies, and expectations to ensure a seamless teaching experience.
- Support Learning: Encourage and support students to engage with the lessons and complete their work to the best of their ability.
- Record Keeping: Mark attendance, report any incidents, and provide feedback on lesson progress for the regular teacher.
- Professionalism: Represent the school positively by maintaining a professional demeanour and building rapport with staff and students.
